Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie

A new book that I have just finished reading that I enjoyed immensely was Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie. This is a murder mystery novel. I don't usually read mysteries and haven't really been interested in them in the past. This novel made me open my eyes. The novel follows Hercule Poirot as he searches for a murderer upon a train. The way that Christie subtlety hints at who the murderer is throughout the book was very good. You had to really pay attention to catch the clues. Each of the characters had their own unique backstory that contributed to the mystery. I appreciate the time and effort that went into creating each of these characters and planning out how the entire murder would work. Agatha Christie did a great job with this novel, so great in fact that I want to read another. Overall, it was an amazing novel that I strongly encourage all who love a good mystery to pick up.
